Saybrook University is presenting a three day workshop in Skills for Adaptive Leadership in Portland, Oregon, February 11-13 at the Process Works Institute, 2049 NW Hoyt Street. This workshop is designed to teach advanced leadership skills to strengthen working relationships and increase productivity for professionals employed in the private and public sectors.

The workshop will be taught by Jeff McAuliffe, MA, Co-Chair of Saybrook University’s School of Organizational Leadership and Transformation and utilizes a unique blend of applied behavioral science skills and models with experiential learning methodology.

Training skills emphasized in the workshop include:

  • Communicating clearly and openly.
  • Managing reactivity to others in moments of intensity.
  • Responding quickly and thoughtfully in intense situations.
  • Building self-awareness and understanding of one’s own behavior..
  • Taking a clear stand on important issues while staying connected to colleagues with different points of view.
  • Contributing to the health of organizations and communities.

About the Instructor
Jeff McAuliffe, MA, is Co-Chair of Saybrook University’s School of Organizational Leadership and Transformation and teaches in the LIOS MA Organizational Systems, Leadership and Organization Development program. His coaching and consultant practice is focused on the integration of organization development, performance improvement, and leadership development to enhance organizational outcomes.
