Bio:
Patricia Ann Van Kley, PhD, is owner and supervising psychologist at Fort Meigs Psychological Service, and a faculty member of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Washington DC. Dr. Van Kley supervises students taking the course Mind-Body Skills Groups: Supervision.

Dr. Van Kley is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience in residential, community, private and academic settings. She has studied Relational/Cultural therapy at the Stone Center at Wellesley College and has pursued the study and practice of Vipassana meditation for over 20 years. In her work at a residential facility for adolescent boys she developed and implemented a family therapy program and established exercise and nutrition programs as an integral part of treatment.

Pat is a faculty member of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine's Professional Training Program and Advanced Training Program. She is a clinical supervisor for candidates enrolled in CMBM's certification program and is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University. In collaboration with Jose' Calderone-Abbo, M.D. she developed and taught a course in Mindfulness, Meditation and Health for Saybrook.

Dr. Van Kley incorporates mind/body medicine into her practice with individuals, couples and families as well as conducting Mind-Body Skills groups. She conducts mind/body/spirit weekend and day-long retreats and facilitates book study groups focusing on the works of Pema Chodron, Jack Kornfield, and Brene' Brown among others.
