Online Hybrid Learning Model
What Hybrid Online Learning Is All About
Earn your humanistic graduate degree through convenient scheduling at any of our schools at Saybrook University. Enjoy a blend of online and residency study, accommodating your professional and lifestyle needs. Engage yourself as a member of an online learning community through our distance learning courses, as well as enjoy face-to-face instruction from our experienced faculty in a variety of residential formats. For more information on how to begin your adult education at Saybrook, fill out a request form today.
The exact mix of online and in-person instruction depends upon the school and the degree program, but all programs, except for the residential masters programs in Seattle, are designed to accommodate working professionals without requiring them to relocate.
Faculty advising is the hallmark of the Saybrook University learning model. Whether working individually or with a group of students, faculty are dedicated to facilitating an intellectual dialog with students. Students can also work with a faculty member to tailor coursework to their particular interests and professional goals.
Face-to-Face Learning at Residential Conferences
As a new student, you'll begin your degree program with a residential learning experience to become familiar with Saybrook practices and begin building relationships with other students and faculty members.
All degree programs have residency requirements. Residential learning provides continuity and opportunities to reconnect in person with the community of faculty and students in support of both academic and professional objectives.
Students are encouraged to bring their own individual experiences and worlds into their learning to enrich their professional development, connect meaningfully to their studies, and relate their studies to real-world settings.
Saybrook University is a learning institution committed to the highest quality of graduate education. Regular assessments and reviews of degree programs are undertaken to sustain and enhance the quality of our programs, student learning, and the student experience. These assessments are grounded in our commitment to our mission, values, and learning goals and the standards promulgated by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), which accredits Saybrook.
