Become a charter member of our new PsyD cohort for this new and innovative program beginning in Fall 2008. This five year program is designed for students who aspire to make a difference in the practice of psychology and who envision a holistic approach to their life's work that integrates professional and personal growth through a learning model that emphasizes scholarship, practice and service.

Because of the program's clinical focus, Saybrook has incorporated a strong residential component designed to meet the recommended requirements by the American Psychological Association for APA Accreditation. The Saybrook PsyD is a 98 unit cohort residential program comprised of four years of coursework that is completed in residence and at a distance plus a fifth year of practicum and internship. Students are required to participate in recurring residential conferences throughout the program. These residential conferences will be in week long and weekend formats at periodic intervals. During the first and second years, students will be required to participate in three week long residential conferences and seven weekend conferences. The fifth year is devoted to internship and the doctoral dissertation.

Students who have earned a bachelor's degree are invited to apply and enroll for our Fall 2008 cohort. Students who have already earned a master's degree are welcome to apply for our Fall 2009 cohort.
