USE YOUR GI BILL BENEFITS AT SAYBROOK
Saybrook’s programs have Veterans Administration (VA) benefit eligibility as follows.
VA tuition benefits. Some of Saybrook’s programs are eligible for certification that may qualify for tuition benefits. Most of the eligible programs meet the classification of independent study (“distance”) for the purposes of enrollment certification when seeking tuition benefits. Admissions Counselors will have the most up-to-date list of programs that may qualify for tuition benefits.
VA housing allowance benefits. Two of Saybrook’s programs are eligible for certification as residential or in-residence programs that may qualify for VA housing allowance benefits. These are the two Seattle (LIOS) MA programs. No other programs at Saybrook may be certified as in-residence.
Veterans interested in using their benefits are encouraged to begin the application process at least three months before enrollment.
VA Benefits Eligibility
Veterans who have served at least 90 days of active duty service after September 10, 2001 and received an honorable discharge qualify for the Post 9/11 GI Bill. For those who served on active duty after 9/10/2001, see the VA website for more information.
VA Benefits Enrollment Verification
Saybrook University’s Registrar’s office will verify your enrollment and submit the necessary enrollment certification provided that you have already registered for your courses.
