Dr. JoAnn McAllister
Dr. McAllister has worked with non-profit organizations and government agencies, including the Office of the California Attorney General, conducting research and developing violence prevention and intervention programs to address intimate partner violence and the needs of at-risk youth. She is the author of numerous articles on social change and community organizing, curricula on domestic violence, and the co-author of Doing Democracy: The MAP model of social movements (New Society Press).
