Request for Help with Finding Celtic Rockers

Mornin' everyone, There will be a symposium at UC Santa Cruz sometime this summer (date not set) to celebrate the Grateful Dead archive opening. I seem to know a bit about Celtic Rock and the organizers asked me if I could present a bit about how the Dead have influenced this genre. I hear some evidence and have heard musicians talk, of course.
What I'd like to do is interview a few Celtic rockers & present some musical examples. Could anyone assist by a) connecting me with Celtic rock musicians and b)pointing the way to a little funding...? (It's fine to pass this note on .. )
