MA with Specialization in Transformative Social Change
Program Overview
The MA Human Science, Specialization in Transformative Social Change allows you to not only enhance your career, but also to better respond to current social, cultural, and political challenges as a scholar, practitioner and/or activist.
Transformative social change involves action that is mindful, purposeful, and intentional, rooted in reflection upon core values and the deeper spiritual understandings that inform them.
By completing this degree, you will have the knowledge and abilities to create transformative changes in social systems. This program is rooted in the human science intellectual heritage which is particularly suited to learning about social problems from multiple perspectives.
That’s why people from a broad range of career paths and backgrounds come to Saybrook to study human science – because through it they can design a unique transdisciplinary plan to focus on their academic and professional goals.
