Learning Outcomes
By bringing together students who share a common concern for the future of the planet and its cultural and biological diversity, we hope to inspire and empower a new generation of leaders with excitement and concrete professional opportunities to create positive impacts.
Students have the opportunity to become part of a global network of scholar-practitioners who will continue to engage with one another and with Saybrook as they venture out into the world with new knowledge, skills, tools, and resources.
Student learning outcomes for the specialization in Leadership of Sustainable Systems are:
- To understand and explore from a critical, creative and systemic perspective the complexity of the challenges and opportunities that organizations and communities face to operate in humane and sustainable ways
-
To diagnose, research, evaluate and design interventions for transformative change in private, public and social institutions
To develop the leadership competencies and collaborative skills to facilitate, guide, educate and empower people in diverse contexts to become part of the solution - To learn from and with their learning community about shared leadership, personal transformation, collaboration, communication and diversity.
