Residential Conferences
The Jungian Studies programs have at their core in-person weekend seminars offered at the C. E. Jung Center, Houston, Texas. Seven seminars are offered each academic year. Certificate and MA students complete 14 seminars and PhD students 21 seminars. These seminars feature in-depth study of various volumes of Jung for five weekends each year. The sixth seminar features the work of post-Jungians such as Hillman, von Franz, Giegerich, Edinger, and others. The seventh seminar focuses on a Jungian approach to symbolic and cultural materials as manifest in religious, mythological, or cultural motifs. Course topics or readings are not repeated in a three-year cycle. The actual sequence of topics varies in any given year based on the availability of a particular instructor for a topic.
