Degree Students
- Saybrook is required to follow the "Return of Federal Funds" policy with respect to students receiving financial aid and will compute the amount due the lender under that policy and charge the student account in the amount of this computation as required.
- Student refunds for tuition will be computed provided that a student has not yet reached the 60% point of the semester (completion of the 12 week in the semester).
Students owe or are required to pay Saybrook tuition based upon the number of weeks they have attended Saybrook. Each semester is assumed to be 20 weeks in duration.
A tuition refund computation to determine a student refund will use the current face value of the tuition for the semester and the number of weeks not completed by the student.
No computation will be made after the student has completed 12 weeks.
- The effective date of withdrawal for tuition refund is the end of the week after the date Saybrook receives an official written notification of the student's request to withdraw.
Students must notify the Dean of Students in writing of their intention to withdraw.
