MBM Part Time Faculty Position: Teaching Coaching for Health and Wellness

The Graduate College of Mind-Body Medicine takes this exceptional history to the next level for a new generation of scholars and practitioners. Our programs offer students a variety of degree options including a MS degree in Mind Body Medicine, as well as three PhD tracks (Healthcare Systems, Practice or Research) so that students may select the path that best meets their professional and career needs. The curriculum includes experiential and didactic training in the mind-body medicine and nutrition as well as coursework which explores the fields of integrative and complementary and alternative medicine.

The College of Mind-Body Medicine is looking for a certified Health and Wellness Coach, with graduate level teaching experience to teach basic and advanced coaching for health and wellness skills. This individual must have some familiarity with online learning environments and a desire to facilitate both academic learning as well as skills based learning.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Individual must have a Master’s or PhD
  • Individual must have either a certificate in Health and Wellness coaching or relevant training in Health and Wellness coaching
  • Individual must have teaching and group facilitation experience
  • Individual must have and interest in academic learning and skills in academic writing and critical thinking
  • Individual must be comfortable teaching both in person and online
