How to Apply

You must complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for federal student aid and most state and college aid. FAFSA on the Web is the quickest and easiest method of applying. You can submit an electronic application via the internet at www.fafsa.gov. Be sure to enter the Saybrook University's school code: G21206.

You must apply once each year by filing the FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA. We recommend that you complete your financial aid application no later than 90 days prior to the beginning of the relevant semester of enrollment.

If you are planning to attend Saybrook in summer 2011, fall 2011, and/or spring 2012 you must complete the 2011-12 FAFSA.

Apply for a PIN

We recommend that students request a personal identification number (PIN) before applying for aid. The PIN can be used to electronically sign your FAFSA application, dramatically decreasing the processing time. You can also use your PIN to make online corrections to your FAFSA, access you’re Student Aid Report, sign the master promissory note for federal direct student loan and access your federal student aid records online including your student loan history information on National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) from the home page at www.nslds.ed.gov. You should apply for your PIN at www.pin.ed.gov before completing your FAFSA.
