Saybrook’s M.A. Counseling program in Seattle is an on-ground program, rooted in counselor identity development, and aligns with the national training standards for the counseling profession. Students complete integrated, rigorous course work during six educational conferences (ECs) each year in Monterey, CA, and at our Bellevue, WA, campus. Additionally, students will be required to complete some online work between ECs, as a way to stay connected to the material, and to the community. A portion of this 60-credit program includes three semesters of field work: Practicum, Internship I and Internship II.

Graduates from department of Counseling programs may be eligible for professional licensure as a Professional Counselor or equivalent, depending on the state.
