The Future Workplace: Promoting Skills for Career Long Employability While Fostering Community Vitality

This dynamic workshop is the first of a series of workshops where academicians, practitioners and policymakers in the private, nonprofit and government sectors participate in a half-day panel of thought leaders and facilitated discussion with audience members. Our objective for this event is to raise awareness of workforce and management issues in the new economy.  Invited panelists will be innovative thought leaders engaged in a dialogue with a variety of interested professionals and community members.

Our Workshop Focus

Collaborative vision and solution building rooted in dialoguing about:

  • Work and management trends in relationship to UN Sustainable Development Goals, a guidepost for sustainable economic growth, employment for all, and resilient societies;
  • How communities can be viable if members have the mindset and skills to engage in meaningful productive employment that empowers them to work in a contemporary setting and evolve as organizational and market needs shift; and

The Innovative linking of economic success and professional development with social innovation and the development of a sustainable future.
