Director of the Saybrook/EHI certificate program:Foundations of Existential-Humanistic Practice
- Humanistic and Clinical Psychology
I am a practicing psychotherapist for over 25 years in Oakland and Sausalito CA. I am the Clinical Director of the Existential-Humanistic Institute in San Francisco where I am responsible for all of the clinical trainings including the three certificate programs in Existential-Humanistic Therapy. One of these programs is the Saybrook/EHI certificate program titled: Foundations of Existential-Humanistic Practice. Now in our fifth year, we offer Saybrook students 64 hours of clinical training in E-H Therapy. Students attend two residential experiential workshops which take place in the fall and in the spring. For more information go to the EHI website: ehinstitute.org.
I have been an adjunct teacher for seven years, teaching the required online courses for the certificate program. My mentors were James Bugental and Irvin Yalom to whom I owe an enormous debt of gratitude. Each taught me how to help clients experience the living moment with care and deep attunement.
