Daniel Foor here (Saybrook Alumnus) writing to share of an upcoming conference in San Francisco with the Earth Medicine Alliance (www.earthmedicine.org). The Alliance is a tax exempt, interfaith, earth-honoring 501(c)3 non-profit committed to remembering human beings as one expression of the natural world and to nourishing alliances with our other-than-human relatives.

The First Annual Conference of the Earth Medicine Alliance
Sat-Sun, Nov. 6-7th, 2010 in San Francisco, CA
This weekend conference will call together diverse earth-honoring spiritual leaders and elders for interfaith dialogue, panels and presentations, and co-created earth ceremonies on public lands around San Francisco. Presenters include Ohlone elders, Buddhist priests, pagan leaders, eco-psychologists, chi gong teachers, orisha priests, shamanic practitioners, and other life-long earth advocates. On Saturday, Nov 6th we will gather at the Unitarian Universalist Center of San Francisco, and on Sunday smaller breakout groups will offer co-created earth healing ceremonies on public lands in and around San Francisco. Registration is limited to 250 and cost is $50 in advance and $65 at the door. Early registration is encouraged and available on our site.
Some of the local eco-psychologist presenters will include Jan Edl Stein (director of Holos Institute), Craig Chalquist (author of several books on eco-psychology), Ginny Anderson (author of Circling San Francisco Bay), Tina Fields, and Daniel Foor (Executive Director of the Earth Medicine Alliance).
