Journal Edited by College of MBM Chair Donald Moss to Appear in Polish Language Edition
The accompanying photos show College of Mind-Body Medicine Chair Donald Moss and Polish neurologist Katarzyna Sienkiewicz holding a copy of the first issue of Biofeedback: A Clinical Journal to appear in a Polish language edition, and also Dr. Raphal Sztembis, the translator and organizer of the Polish edition. These photos were taken during the scientific meeting of the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe, on Thursday September 13, in Rzeszow, Poland.
Dr. Moss has edited Biofeedback for 18 years. The publication is peer reviewed and indexed as a scholarly publication in both North American and Russian scientific services. Biofeedback focuses on new research and clinical developments in biofeedback, neurofeedback, self-regulation techniques, and applied psychophysiology. The publication also includes special issues on related approaches including hypnosis, yoga, meditation, spirituality and health, and optimal performance applications. Back issues prior to 2009 are available free online, at: http://www.aapb.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageID=3315.
Newer issues are available through membership in the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, and in many university library databases.
Raphal Sztembis, a Polish physician and a resident in cardiology, has organized many educational programs in Poland promoting biofeedback and neurofeedback, including the September meeting of the BFE in Rzeszow. Dr. Sztembis arranged the Polish edition of Biofeedback, and personally did much of the translation for the first issue.
