Are You Eligible To Transfer Credits?

We recognize the work you’ve put into getting here. Our Transfer Credit Portal serves to clarify, support, and review eligibility of your transfer credits for our degree programs. Most students are able to transfer a maximum of 12 credits toward a master’s degree or 15 credits toward a doctorate if they have completed graduate-level coursework from a regionally accredited institution.

Transferable coursework must have received a grade of B or above (or equivalent) and the academic program chair will assist with evaluating your previous degree work for the recommended number of transferable credits. If you’re considering transferring Ph.D. programs, your transfer credits must be evaluated again by the chair of your new program. Some previously awarded transfer credits may not align with your new program.

Transfer Credit Evaluation

Transfer credits can significantly reduce tuition by decreasing the number of courses you need to complete. However, they do not change the total credit requirements for the degree. Check out our academic catalog for detailed guidelines on transferring graduate school credits for each specific program.
