Andris received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and his fields of expertise include Research Methods (qualitative and quantitative research methodologies), Public Policy, and International Relations.
He also earned his Master's degree from Miami University of Ohio and received his bachelor's degree in Political Science at Berea College. Andris has been teaching various research methods courses ranging from introductory research methods to applied professional and experimental research. His research focus is on mixed methods research although he also teaches qualitative and quantitative methods.
Andris has worked with several organizations conducting practical research, program evaluation, and impact assessments across the world. He is also interested in researching how new methods such AI and different methodological approaches can be applied to answer complex social problems
