Biography

Dr. Carlos Santo is a licensed naturopathic physician, educator, lecturer, and fitness and yoga instructor with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. He holds advanced degrees in Naturopathic Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Exercise Science, which reflect his deep commitment to integrative and evidence-based approaches to health and helping others achieve their fullest potential.. His clinical passions include functional endocrinology, chronic pain management, natural hormone balancing, heart disease, and sports medicine. Dr. Santo is a faculty member in the Saybrook University Mind-Body Medicine Department, and is the Program Coordinator for the Department of Sport Perfomance Psychology. A published author in the Journal of Natural Medicine, Dr. Santo continues to bridge traditional and integrative health practices through research, academic and public education, and clinical excellence. When not working, Dr. Santo enjoys yoga, working out, pickleball, language studies (conversational in Spanish and Italian), playing music, volunteering (US Coast Guard Auxiliary), martial arts, and his daily mindfulness practice.
