Diana Rivera

Dr. Diana Rivera is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California. She is the owner of Empowerment Psychology, a Professional Psychology Corporation based in Los Angeles, CA. Her clinical training includes private practice training/supervision in the practice of Paula E. Bruce, Ph.D. and Associates, at the San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, and at Los Angeles LGBT Center. Her professional background includes decades of experience in arts education facilitation, curriculum development, personal and professional development coaching. She teaches in the clinical psychology degree program in the following courses: Personality Theory and Research, Developmental Psychology, Health Psychology, Clinical Interventions I. Her psychological interests include psychology of creativity and arts-based healing processes, imagination and altered state of consciousness, integrative health, personality and human development through the lifespan, as well as integrated healing practices. She got her MA in Psychology, Creativity Studies specialization and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University.
