Isaac G. Martinez received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Oklahoma State University in 1996. He then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and geropsychology at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. Research interests revolve around the development of evidence-based mental health community programs, Hispanic issues, and the use of integrative approaches to trauma. He is currently a faculty member in the Humanistic and Clinical psychology Ph.D. program at Saybrook University. His private practice has delivered services including neuropsychological assessment, psychological testing, psychotherapy, and family therapy for over 20 years in the San Antonio area. Prior to joining faculty, he developed the first suicide prevention program for military dependents in collaboration with SAMSHA , Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston Independent School District and the Texas Department of State Health Services. His clinical program designs have received funding through various federal, state, local and private entities.
