Dr. Kara Vander Linden is a qualitative research expert with over two decades of experience mentoring doctoral students through the dissertation process using a variety of research methodologies. She specializes in helping students develop methodologically sound research. She is passionate about helping researchers explore complex social issues across a variety of disciplines. Her expertise spans qualitative and multi-method research, and she is recognized as a global expert in grounded theory. She has served as chair, methodologist, and committee member on a wide range of dissertation studies. Dr. Vander Linden currently serves as Adjunct Research Faculty at Saybrook University and is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Research and Theory Methodologies, a global nonprofit that supports researchers through training, mentoring, and resources
