Kasey Flynt, Ph.D., MAS, is a Saybrook's IFN program graduate. Dr. Kasey Flynt has taught a wide range of courses in nutrition, public health, sociology, and integrative biology, emphasizing critical thinking, real-world applications, and inclusivity in the classroom. Dr. Flynt's teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging, accessible learning environments that empower students from diverse backgrounds to succeed.
Their research focuses on the intersection of nutrition, health systems, and community resilience, particularly in underserved populations such as neurodiverse people and people with disabilities. Dr. Flynt has also contributed to curriculum development and student mentorship, guiding numerous undergraduate and graduate students toward academic and professional success. In addition to their academic roles, they have a background in community health initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration, further enriching their approach to education. Dr. Flynt is passionate about fostering equity and inclusion in their work.
