Naoko Brown, Ph.D
Naoko received her Master's degree in Psychology from Seattle University's Existential-Phenomenological Psychology program in 2003 and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University in 2018.
She has been teaching a graduate course at Seattle University since 2011 and at Saybrook University since 2018. Naoko has taught master's level as well as doctorate level courses.
Naoko has been providing psychotherapy to the community since 2003, and has provided psychotherapy/counseling services to diverse clients in several settings including community agency, college counseling center, and private practice. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a certified Focusing Professional/Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapist. She has training in Existential-Humanistic psychology, Person-Centered Approach, Experiential Psychotherapy, and Psychodynamic Oriented Psychotherapy. Naoko has experience working with individuals, couples, and adolescents from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and has provided psychotherapy service in Japanese as well as in English.
