Dr. Randy Heinrich is a retired soldier and former educator who lives in the beautiful high desert in Northern Arizona with his bride and dogs. He earned a doctorate in management (organizational leadership) at the University of Phoenix. He completed graduate studies in education, counseling, business administration, education administration, and international relations at Chapman University, Northern Arizona University, Boston University, and Harvard University. He served in the Army as an intelligence analyst across the United States, Central America, and Europe. After retiring, he served in teaching and administrative roles supporting at-risk and special needs youth in a rural school district. He sold insurance and investment products. He taught courses for colleges and universities in leadership, research, education, business, and psychology, and supervised teacher candidates during their practica. He stays active in alternative schools and dropout prevention research, as well as support for youth through advocacy initiatives. He co-authored Do Children Drop Out of School in Kindergarten? A Reflective, Systems-based Approach for Promoting Deep Change. He serves across dissertation committee roles for candidates pursuing social justice, nutrition, wellness, education, psychology, business, and social work doctoral degrees. His methodological expertise includes case studies, program evaluations, and action research. When not working, he enjoys time with family, walking in nature, and embracing the peacefulness of country living.
