Dr. Randy Scott is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Seattle, WA. In addition to being a Saybrook University Adjunct Faculty member, he also serves as Clinical Director for Adult Services and Child and Family Services at SOUND Behavioral Health-Northgate in Seattle, WA. He received his Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) Counseling degree from Seattle University and his PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision (CES) at Walden University. His doctoral research focused on the marginalization of first-generation college students. Dr. Scott has worked in both private practice and higher education settings with students, most recently serving as Senior Associate Director for Counseling and Psychological Services at Seattle University. He currently serves as Clinical Director for SOUND Behavioral Health-Northgate in Seattle, WA. As a counselor, Dr. Scott incorporates narrative therapy and multicultural/social justice-focused approaches to working with people.
