Vanessa Brown, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who received a master's degree in clinical and humanistic psychology and a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in humanistic psychology from Michigan School of Psychology in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She is also affiliated with the Michigan Psychological Association. Dr. Brown served on the executive board for the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 32, the Society for Humanistic Psychology from 2019-2025. Dr. Brown has served as a guest editor for The Humanistic Psychologist, publishing a special issue on Women in Humanistic Psychology, and for The Journal of Humanistic Psychology, publishing a special issue on Collapse Psychology. Dr. Brown is the past Therapy Director of FairSky Foundation, a nonprofit mental health clinic emphasizing social justice work and the founder of Sol Terra, a community refuge organization. She has over 15 years of clinical experience in providing humanistically-oriented and spiritually-integrated therapeutic services to the Metro Detroit community.
