Biography

Dr. Cynthia Johnson is a Registered Dietician/Nutritionist and although she is a full- time dialysis dietitian, her passion is Functional Nutrition which she also practices as part of her private practice. She holds a doctorate degree in Public Health and was a NIH Complementary and Alternative Medicine fellow at Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. Her educational background also includes an MS degree in Herbal Medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Medicine, Laurel, MD; an MS degree in Health Education from Howard University, Washington, DC; a BS degree from University of Alabama in Human Environmental Sciences; and a BS degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA in Biology. She completed her dietetic internship through Iowa State University.
