What is Mind-Body Medicine?

Mind-body medicine recognizes the profound impact mental and emotional well-being have on physical health. The growing popularity of mind-body medicine can be seen in the application of techniques like mindfulness—not long ago, these ideas were considered fringe, but are now studied, practiced, and celebrated widely.

Adults are increasingly turning toward mind-body medicine approaches, such as yoga and meditation, to complement their well-being.

By targeting health from this perspective, mind-body medicine provides sustainable and complementary wellness solutions that go beyond symptom relief to restore the balance between mind, body, and spirit.

What Can You Do with a Mind-Body Medicine Degree?

Many of our graduates use their degrees to enhance their already established private practices or to bring mind-body medicine techniques to their careers. Why You Should Study Mind-Body Medicine

We encourage students to think outside the box, ask questions to develop a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection, and explore new ways to optimize the well-being of their clients and communities, as well as themselves.

Our humanistic approach combines distanced learning with community and connection, allowing you to learn at your own pace without sacrificing opportunities to form lifelong friendships and professional relationships with classmates, faculty, and institutional partners.
